Michael Brown – “Death in the Garden”

Michael Brown, garden historian and creator of the medieval gardens at the Prebendal Manor at Nassington, Northamptonshire, will come to give us his talk entitled “Death in the Garden”:  poisonous plants, myths, magic, passion and murder. Be warned, some of these plants may be growing in your garden!  Members free, visitors £3.

Tuesday 13 March 2.30pm, visit to Debby Horsman’s garden in Pavenham.  The snowdrops may be over, but there will be plenty of spring flowers.  Price per person £4 plus cost of refreshments.  We will organize shared transport.  If you would like to join this visit, please let Sue Davies know – 708614, – indicating whether you would like a lift or can offer transport to others.

Debby’s garden, together with her friend’s, will be open for the National Garden Scheme fund raising scheme on 5, 11, 14, 15, 22 and 24 February should anyone wish to visit independently in time to view the snowdrops. 1 – 4.30pm
